Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start the application process?

To begin the admissions process at RMES, simply download and complete the Application for Admission from our website. Once completed, submit it to the RMES office in person or by mail. Our admissions team will review your application and reach out with next steps. If you’d like guidance or want to schedule a tour before applying, we’re happy to help.

Do you accept students who are not Seventh-day Adventist?

Yes. While RMES is a Seventh-day Adventist school and our curriculum reflects Christian values, we welcome families of all faiths who are supportive of our mission and spiritual environment. Our goal is to create a respectful, nurturing space where every child can grow academically and spiritually.

What types of financial aid or scholarships are available?

Over 95% of our students receive some form of financial assistance. Support is available through RMES financial aid, local church sponsorships (like PMC and other area churches), endowed scholarship funds, the Partnering for Eternity program, and tuition assistance for eligible Andrews University employees. We also offer sibling discounts to help make Adventist education more accessible for families.

Can we schedule a tour before applying?

Absolutely! We encourage both in-person and virtual tours so you can explore our campus, meet our staff, and get a feel for the RMES learning environment. Tours are easy to schedule online or by calling our office, and they’re a great first step before applying.

Is there an application deadline or can we apply mid-year?

While we encourage families to apply early—especially before summer—RMES accepts applications on a rolling basis. If space is available, mid-year enrollment is possible. Tuition is prorated for students who begin after the school year has started.
