10 working with curriculum at Andrews University and working with CIRCLE and at Pioneer Memorial Church.
Degrees & Certifications: BS Elementary Education, MA Curriculum and Instruction, State and SDA certification

Mrs. Bailey is passionate about teaching Science at RMES Junior High—what she joyfully calls her dream job. With teaching experience dating back to 2000, she has worked across various grade levels but has found her true calling in the dynamic environment of junior high education. 

While taking time off to raise her two daughters, Mrs. Bailey remained connected to the world of education through roles at the University and CIRCLE. In a beautifully timed turn of events, God opened the door for her to return to the very position she had loved previously.

She is deeply committed to making science engaging, accessible, and hands-on for her students. Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Bailey integrates faith and learning by helping students encounter God through nature—an essential aspect of Adventist education and one she holds close to her heart.

The early years of education shape more than just school readiness—they shape identity, confidence, and a lifelong approach to learning. At Ruth Murdoch Elementary School, we recognize that what happens in these formative years lays the groundwork for how a child thinks, relates, and thrives. Here, education is more than academics. It’s the cultivation of curiosity, the strengthening of resilience, and the daily experience of being seen and supported. In classrooms filled with purpose and encouragement, students begin to understand not just what they can achieve—but who they are in Christ.
