Mr. Billy Whiting has been serving in Adventist education for the past eight years. Originally from eastern Michigan, he spent six years teaching in Grand Rapids before joining the faculty at Ruth Murdoch Elementary School in Berrien Springs.

A devoted follower of Christ and a passionate lover of history, Mr. Whiting enjoys inspiring his students and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals throughout the school year. His commitment to faith and learning is at the heart of everything he does in the classroom.

The early years of education shape more than just school readiness—they shape identity, confidence, and a lifelong approach to learning. At Ruth Murdoch Elementary School, we recognize that what happens in these formative years lays the groundwork for how a child thinks, relates, and thrives. Here, education is more than academics.
