Leadership begins here

Seventh Grade at RMES

Challenging students to think deeply, lead faithfully, and live boldly for Christ.

A crucial year of growth

Welcome to Seventh Grade at RMES

Where students prepare for high school-and life -with purpose, responsibility, and faith.

Seventh grade is a pivotal year at RMES, where students are encouraged to rise to new levels of independence and leadership. Academically, they begin tackling more complex projects and texts while applying time management and critical thinking skills.

Spiritually and socially, they take on active roles in worship, service, and school life - learning what it means to lead by example and reflect Christ in everyday decisions.

Meet The Teachers

Mrs. Rosemary Bailey, Mrs. Brianna Martin, & Mr. William Whiting – Grade 7 Teachers

Seventh grade at RMES is led by a dedicated teaching team: Mrs. Rosemary Bailey brings science to life through hands-on exploration and curiosity-driven lessons, Mrs. Brianna Martin helps students build confidence and critical thinking in math, and Mr. William Whiting brings passion and depth to language arts instruction.

Together, they create a balanced and supportive learning environment that challenges and inspires. In addition to the core subjects, students benefit from a rotating schedule of engaging mini courses taught by various faculty members—offering enrichment in areas such as music, leadership, technology, and the arts.

Where Every Lesson Builds Confidence
and Character

The early years of education shape more than just school readiness—they shape identity, confidence, and a lifelong approach to learning. At Ruth Murdoch Elementary School, we recognize that what happens in these formative years lays the groundwork for how a child thinks, relates, and thrives. Here, education is more than academics. It’s the cultivation of curiosity, the strengthening of resilience, and the daily experience of being seen and supported. In classrooms filled with purpose and encouragement, students begin to understand not just what they can achieve—but who they are in Christ.
